GARY ROSS KNOWS MY NAME!

Here is our local Fox News 34 covering our big brush with Hollywood and The Hunger Games!


To say we are excited that the local news media was able to actually TALK to Gary Ross, would be a gross understatement. Here's to hoping he can visit our school (and cast us as extras in the movie...just a suggestion.).

    In addition, I would love to play Katniss! I have been in many theater productions, and would work really hard to portray Katniss accurately, because her character means a lot to me! I personally believe that unknowns as the main characters would be better so that audiences don't have preconceptions about the film based on the actors.

    Please let me know what you/your students think! I would love to hear your feedback!

    You're so lucky. I wish I had a teacher who loves The Hunger Games as much as I do. I also wish I could meet Gary Ross and go to the movie premiere...

    What a cool story! This idea sounds an awful lot like an activity from a literature unit I bought on a website. Do you sell that unit on CD? I thought for sure I bought the same exact thing from another person. Do you sell under a pseudonym? Just curious...
